Eastland Chiropractic Family Health Center. Eastland Chiropractic is located in Lexington, KY at the Eastland Shopping Center conveniently on the corner of Winchester road and New Circle Road. Dr. Brent Dawson, D.C. was born and raised in Kentucky an hour north of Lexington in Florence. He was the second of 4 boys in the Dawson family. Dr. Dawson attended Boone County High School where he played football and was involved in several academic organizations. Dr. Dawson was first introduced to chiropractic as a freshman in high school when he had low back pain develop. He was so impressed with his results that his career path was paved. He graduated with honors and received an academic scholarship to the University of Louisville. Dr. Dawson was a premed student while attending UofL, with the intentions of going to chiropractic school. He graduated with honors in May of 2000. Dr. Dawson applied for and was accepted to Logan College of Chiropractic in August of 2001. Logan College is located 20 miles west of St. Louis, Missouri in Chesterfield. Here Dr. Dawson spent 4 years studying the basic sciences like anatomy and physiology, clinical sciences, and radiology, etc. He also spent four semesters treating patients in the student and outpatient clinics as part of his internship. Dr. Dawson graduated in December of 2004. While attending Logan College, Dr. Dawson worked as an assistant at the on campus wellness center and as a teaching assistant. During his fourth semester Dr. Dawson met a wonderful woman at the wellness center by the name of Harmony. She was a year behind him in chiropractic school and hoped to practice chiropractic on horses near Lexington. In March of 2005 Dr. Dawson established Eastland Chiropractic and bought the assets to Eastland Family Chiropractic in Lexington, KY. After a 6 month long distance relationship, Dr. Dawson and Harmony were married in September of 2005 in Traverse City, Michigan. The couple soon parted ways for another 3 months of long distance while Mrs. Harmony Dawson finished her chiropractic schooling. She graduated from Logan College in December of 2005. Immediately following her graduation they were reunited in Lexington to begin lives and careers together. Currently, Dr. Brent and Dr. Harmony reside in Lexington, KY. They bought a house where they and their 2 dogs, Tinsley and Sedona reside. The Drs. Dawson do not currently have any children but look forward to raising a family in the Lexington area.
